JOB TITLE ~ Sales Team Leader – Mekong Delta

LEVEL ~ L4

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION ~ Manage end-to-end sales of farm machinery by developing channel partners and engaging with end-users and co-operatives; ensure consistent and profitable growth through positive planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel; Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long- term growth; assist Sales Manager to build and maintain the relationship with partners and customers; regular travell required.

 

JOB DUTIES Assist Sales Manager, Mekong Delta:

 

• Develop multiple streams of business such as Chanel / End-user, Co-operatives, and Implements and execute market facing programs to surpass targets 

• Identify channel partners and engage them to represent us in key markets / provinces

• Develop and execute [in collaboration with other support teams] Market outreach programs to generate awareness, influence audiences, and convert prospective customers

• Set out processes to manage channel partners and ensure their adherence to terms on brand promotion, payments, and customer satisfaction

• Manage expectations of financing partners [such as Agribank] and product partners [such as MF, Shaktiman] and ensure we are ahead of curve at all times Sales

• Identify and engage with channel partners

• Prepare sales pipeline and business reports

• Recommend changes in customer use to improve productivity

• Demonstrate use of farm machinery at showrooms, dealers, customer sites

• Periodically update market activities of competition, prices, new products, and specifications

• Constantly upskill sales team members on avenues to sell and customer orientation

• Manage inventory at desired levels by maintaining a constant flow of sales throughput and orders

 • Other duties given by Sales Manager, Mekong Delta

 

JOB REQUIREMENT • Preferably Female; • Thorough understanding of sales, credit and banking activities, the Farm Machinery industry; cropping pattern and seasons is an added advantage • Good communication skills ~ Good spoken and written English • Result and deadline-oriented; persistent with a keen ability to follow-up on pipeline orders • Team building and management – treat all people with respect and dignity • Basic commercial knowledge of equipment sales • Extensive travel to provinces • Working knowledge of MS Office suite

 

 EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE • Diploma / Graduate degree in Sales & Marketing or relevant fields • 5+ years of experience in real estate or high value products, banking services; prefer machinery and allied-industry sales in Vietnam
